Product-Highlights

The smallest cassette

Thanks to the patented OptiFlow system®, the cassette even looks very small and subtle with very large fabrics up to 6 metre wide. It measures just 7.5 cm for the rail and rope, regardless of whether it's in the round or square version.

Protected patio

VertiTex II can be flexibly and subtly mounted on the patio roof thus providing reliable all-round protection, even with a low-lying sun and wind.

Vertical privacy and sun protection on balconies

As an alternative to a sunshade, VertiTex II also offers privacy and sun protection on the balcony.

Textile luxury at the window

Due to its impressive textile, homely character, the VertiTex II is a suitable alternative to external shading systems or roller shutters. It can be used outside and inside. With a transparent fabric you ensure pleasant lighting inside and can see outside at the same time as it offering privacy protection.

Modern design

Whether it's round or square, the VertiTex II cassette adapts perfectly to your building's architecture.

Elegant design faceplate

The VertiPlus design faceplate ensures the elegant integration of the vertical awning into the Terrazza Pure glass patio roof or weinor PergoTex II pergola awning construction – for a harmonious overall look.

For high winds

VertiTex II excels due to its high wind resistance. It consequently copes easily with winds up to force 5 on the Beaufort scale, the Zip version even manages up to WF 6. The bottom rail profile at the end of the awning rotates with the wind, too, so that the system runs reliably and quietly, thus protecting the material.

VertiTex Zip – the wind-resistant version

The Zip version's fabric helds captive on both sides. The provides extremely taut fabric and maximum wind stability without any light gap at all.

VertiTex II guide rail – the universal version

With this version the fabric is reliably guided in the rail with the bottom rail profile. A small light gap remains between the fabric and rail.

VertiTex II guide rope – the light version

The VertiTex II with guide rope is the ideal solution for a delicate and light look.

Safely guided, even in winds

In winds the elegant bottom rail profile at the bottom of the awning revolves too so that the system runs reliably and quietly without jamming. This protects the fabric and mechanism and extends the operating life of the whole system.

Indented rope

If it is not possible to fix the rope guide version on the side, the guide rope can be indented.

Suitable for difficult facades and easily retrofittable

Thanks to the matching guide rails, special fixing techniques and the small cassette shape, the VertiTex II can also be fitted, and even retrofitted, to difficult facade areas, for example window niches or embrasures.

VertiTex II: Good to know before you buy!

Benefit from the experience of our weinor retailers – up-to-date, professional and practical!

What to do when it's freezing?
Chevron Down

It is better not to operate the VertiTex II in frosty conditions to prevent damaging any frozen components. However, if this is necessary in practice, it is better to keep an eye on the system! So you can stop quickly if something is frozen and prevent any damage.

And in windy conditions?
Chevron Down

The VertiTex II withstands wind speeds of up to 38 km/h, the VertiTex II Zip even up to 49 km/h. Despite this, it is better to raise the vertical awning before strong winds develop. As a result, you can ensure that your VertiTex II is not damaged by strong gusts of wind. If you supplement your system with a wind sensor, it will do this job for you. If you don't have a sensor and stronger winds have already set in, then watch as you retract it and respond to any possible jamming or irregular running by stopping the system.

Guidance on use in rain
Chevron Down

The awning's basic function is to protect against sunlight, glare and heat build up. It's better to retract your sun protection product when it's raining. As wet fabrics may develop more wrinkling, water marks and mildew stains. It is also possible that honeycomb patterns may appear. If your vertical awning does happen to get wet, it is best to extend it to dry out as soon as the weather has improved.

Fabrics react to the environment
Chevron Down

Fabrics react to external conditions. If it is dry or damp, warm or cold outside, the fabric may shrink or expand – only minimally of course. The size of the system also plays a part. These external factors may cause rippling and folds in the fabric. These folds are quite normal though and do not damage the system.

Are running noises normal?
Chevron Down

To what extent the noise is noticed is of course subjective. Unfortunately, it is not possible for the system to run completely without any running or motor noise due to the VertiTex II's moving parts. But the system is quiet as a mouse when it is extended or retracted. What can you do yourself? Cleaning the running rails or ropes regularly protects the moving parts. Please refer to your maintenance instructions and directions for use.

Grooves on the back of the VertiTex II
Chevron Down

With an installed VertiTex II, the back is generally not visible. It has grooves so that the system can be hooked into the brackets. However, there are specific installation situations where this mounting side is visible. It is best to speak to your specialist retailer and partner about this. They will be able to advise you professionally and offer you a solution for a harmonious look.

Stick-slip effect – what is it?
Chevron Down

How a VertiTex II runs may vary due to the fabrics' frictional properties. The season and age of the system also play a part. This may lead to irregularities when retracting and expanding it, for example, the system "jerking". In professional circles this is known as the stick-slip effect. This does not damage the system or restrict its function though.

Avoiding transverse seams
Chevron Down

Fabrics are tailored to the system size. As not every type of fabric has the same width, this may result in transverse seams. This depends entirely on which fabric you choose and the system height. The best thing to do is to contact your retailer beforehand and ask for advice on the most suitable type of fabric.

Creasing and wrinkling – no need to worry!
Chevron Down

Some irregularities simply cannot be avoided due to environmental and production reasons – for example, creases, wrinkles, ripple formation in the seam area, honeycombing or visible fabric edges with blended yarns. But we can reassure you: you are dealing with a high-performance fabric – small blemishes do not impair its functionality. They are therefore not a reason for rejection or grounds for complaint.
